Quick start
1 · Pick a fan
Swipe left or right on the Fan Noise tab, or tap the fan button to see all fans.
2 · Turn it on
Tap the power button. Tap the speed button to go Low → Medium → High → Max.
3 · Set a timer
Tap the timer and choose how long. Lock your phone — the sound keeps playing.

How do I change the fan speed?+
Does the sound keep playing when my screen is locked?+
The sound is too quiet. What can I do?+
- Turn up your iPhone volume with the side buttons.
- Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not limiting volume and Low Power or Focus settings aren't muting media.
- Choose a higher fan speed (High or Max).
- On the Sounds tab, check the fan volume slider in “Now Playing”.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Fan Noise app for iPhone (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information. In short: we do not collect, store, sell or share any personal information.
Information we collect
None. The app has no accounts, sign-ups, analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not send any personal information to us or to third parties.
Information stored on your device
To remember your preferences, the app saves the following only on your device (using standard iOS app storage):
- Selected fan, fan speed and volume levels
- Sounds you play and your saved mixes
- Sleep timer length and app settings
- Whether you have finished the introduction and answered the rating prompt
This information never leaves your device and is deleted when you delete the app.
Sounds and internet use
All fan and sleep sounds are included in the app and play offline. The app does not need an internet connection to work.
Permissions
Fan Noise does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, Bluetooth or health data.
Third-party services
When you choose to rate the app, share it, or contact support, the app opens Apple's App Store, the iOS share sheet or your email app. Information you send through these services is handled under their own privacy policies (for example, Apple's Privacy Policy). If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you.
Children's privacy
Fan Noise is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Your rights (including California residents)
Because we do not collect or sell personal information, there is no personal information for us to access, correct, delete or share. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), we do not sell or share personal information.
Data security
Your preferences stay on your device and are protected by iOS security features such as your passcode and device encryption.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.

By downloading or using the Fan Noise app, you agree to these Terms of Use. The app is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which also applies.
Use of the app
Fan Noise is provided for personal, non-commercial use to help you relax, focus and sleep. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app or its sounds and artwork.
Health and safety
- Fan Noise is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition, including sleep disorders or tinnitus.
- Listen at a comfortable volume. Long listening at high volume can damage hearing.
- When using the app near babies or children, keep the device at a safe distance and use a low to moderate volume.
Content and ownership
The app, its design, fan artwork and sounds are owned by the developer and protected by copyright and other laws. Apple and the App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.
Availability
We work to keep the app reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country or state.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
